Issues in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2024 application form have been brought to the attention of students and parents when they saw a glitch in the CUET application form. Concerns are specifically raised regarding the ABC column, identification number, and the absence of Delhi University in the list of participating universities. The National Testing Agency (NTA) initiated the registration process for CUET UG 2024 on February 27.
As per the feedback from CUET UG 2024 aspirants, one notable point of contention is the inclusion of the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) column in the application form. Many applicants, primarily school students, are unfamiliar with the concept of the ABC ID. While some may be aware of the Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry (APAAR), the lack of information and guidelines regarding ABC has left students feeling confused.
The absence of Delhi University from the list of participating universities has also been flagged by aspirants, raising concerns about the completeness and accuracy of the application form. The students and parents assert that these issues need prompt attention and resolution to ensure a smooth and fair application process for all CUET UG 2024 candidates.
In addition, there is a section in the CUET UG 2024 form concerning identification details, where a dropdown option for selecting the identification number is conspicuously absent. This omission has led to confusion among students, as they are left without a clear choice for inputting their identification information.
Furthermore, a significant concern arises from the limitations of the application form. Notably, the list of universities available for selection during the admissions process is quite restricted, with the notable absence of Delhi University. This omission has sparked anxiety among students, who are uncertain whether omitting DU from their CUET UG form might pose complications in the application process.
Absence of Delhi University in the List of Universities
A student from a private school in Delhi expressed discontent, stating, “I’ve noticed that the list only includes a few universities, none of which interest me. Despite reaching out to the NTA, I have not received any response.” The frustration of candidates and their guardians have spilled over onto social media platforms.
An individual on X (formerly Twitter) shared a screenshot depicting the limited number of university options in the application form’s drop-down list. Specifically, the absence of Delhi University raised concerns, with the user expressing hope that the matter is being addressed promptly.
A user, identified as an X user, recently reached out on social media and tagged NTA, expressing concern about the unavailability of the complete university and program list for CUET UG 2024 on the Samarth site. They sought advice on whether the list was yet to be uploaded.
In a separate post, another user raised issues with the hurried release of the CUET UG 2024 form, he said, “The form of CUET UG 2024 is available in a hurry, ugc_india, NTA_Exams, but neither the information about the courses of all the universities nor the updated syllabus is there in it. Now how can a child fill the form in such a situation? Honourable D Pradhan sir, you are requested to pay attention to this issue,”.
