Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences (BCAS), the leading institute in India for science and applied sciences. BCAS was established in 1998, by Dr. Ved Prakash Aggarwal, with a vision to create world-class scientists and engineers who will make breakthroughs benefiting the nation, and the world at large.
The college has firmly positioned itself as one of the most sought after institutes in Delhi University with highly qualified faculty members and over 30 laboratories equipped with state of the art technology that gives its students exposure to real-world experience.
BCAS offers Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Technology programmes in various disciplines like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science and Information Technology among others. We also offer our students training opportunities and internships through industry partnership programs.

History
Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences (BCAS) was established in the year 1999.
It is a constituent college of the University of Delhi, India and is named after the great Indian mathematician Bhaskara Acharya. The college offers Bachelor’s (BSc), Master’s (MSc) and Doctoral programs in various applied science disciplines such as Physics, Chemistry, Natural Sciences, Computer Applications and Environmental Sciences.
The college has been awarded ‘A’ Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in 2013. It has also received numerous awards including Rashtriya Sanjivani Award 2016-18, Sachar Committee Award 2013-2015, Delhi State Excellence Award 2018 and Saloni Environment Awareness Roadshow Award 2017.
The college works with an aim to provide quality higher education to its students through its wide range of Graduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral programs. The college has state of the art laboratories with modern equipments where the students can explore their innovative ideas to conduct research projects.
In addition to academics there are ample opportunities for students to actively participate in co-curricular activities like sports, workshops and fest like Techamasscia etc., which helps them to grow as professionals. The campus boasts of a strong community engagement & outreach wing, known as CYNOSURE through which every year college contributes back to society doing CSR activities like Blood donation Camps , NSS Day celebration etc.

- Develop a clear code of conduct that outlines expected behaviours for faculty, staff and students.
- Provide continual professional development opportunities for all staff members to ensure competency and compliance with regulations.
- Incorporate health and safety into the curriculum as an integral part of learning, in line with national standards and regulations.
- Implement an assessment system to gauge student performance regularly, taking into account relevant industry benchmarks and best practices.
- Integrate administrative procedures such as fee collection, leave applications etc with existing software systems to improve operational efficiency and accuracy across all departments.
- Establish communication channels between the college administration, faculty and students to enable a prompt response to student queries or complaints relating to college infrastructure, academics or campus services.
- Designate resources towards research-based projects conducted in-house or in collaboration with other educational institutions, universities or industries for the benefit of students’ knowledge acquisition or obtaining practical experiences related to their field of study/research specialty.
