Established in 1969 by Mata Sundri, a revered Sikh saint known for her deep faith and piety, Mata Sundri College for Women has evolved into a leading women’s educational institution in Delhi. Located on Sham Nath Marg in North Delhi, the college attracts over 6000 students annually, offering quality education to women from diverse backgrounds.
Commencing with just 24 students enrolled in the four-year B.A (Honours) Sanskrit Programme, the college later expanded its academic offerings, upgrading the Sanskrit Programme to a two-year post-graduation course. The curriculum broadened to include disciplines like BSc Honours in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Zoology, and introduced new subjects such as Psychology, Defence Studies, and Computer Science.
